Item Cards

Items are an equippable card type that can attach to various targets.

Item cards have a Fixed Funding Cost

Items cost 2F to deploy.

An Item card enters play unattached to any other card.

An Item cannot be used for its effects until it is equipped to a valid target.

An Item card can be attached to a valid target by paying the equip cost of 1F.

This can be done if the Item is unattached or already attached to an existing target.

Abilities From Items Cost Funding to Use

If an Item card provides an activated ability, you may use that ability at the cost of 1F. This applies to Items equipped to Creatures you control, enemy Creatures, or any other valid target.

When a Creature equipped with an Item leaves play, the Item remains in play and may be equipped again.

An Item can also be forcefully unequipped if a creature's SWG stat drops below the threshold for how many items they are carrying. The Creature's controller chooses which Item becomes unequipped.

If the active player has no Creatures in play at the end of their turn, there's nobody on board to defend the Items; they are looted by the masses (sent to discard pile).

This looting applies to all unattached Items that player controls (residing in their Active Zone), as well as any Items attached to their Active Zone by any player.
